Niiiice!!! Shows what Virgil Exner had goin' on with the Forward Look - a little "purifying" by dechroming and simplifying some of the details, floating the headlights, and there you go. Bravo! Nice paint, too.

Simple and subtle color choices. I could almost pass for a factory show car. Paul

Looks good. I like your "less is more" approach to simplifying the excessive chrome and goofy details that were on the 1:1.

Now that's slick!! Beautiful work. I like these cars quite a bit and yours is a perfect example of the dramatic but sanitary vibe that is possible when some of the more discordant features of the car are ironed out.

Very clean custom, or as they used to say, Sano!
Most of us would have gone straight to pearl or mettalic paint (and there's nothing wrong with that) so seeing it in a solid color is refreshing.

That one came out great! I had to revisit the bench posts to see exactly what you had done. The subtle changes don't jump out at you, & I think that's a very good thing. Did LMK do the plating?

Thanks for the comments guys, always appreciated. And Steve, it was a few years ago and I don't recall who did this plating order for me. I think I'm getting a little foggin in the noggin. Gary

... a perfect example of the dramatic but sanitary vibe that is possible when some of the more discordant features of the car are ironed out. Very well stated. Some of these cars just seemed to run with the "more" theme and just went, well, too far! Too far, too much, too big, too gawdy was sometimes the end result that shifted these potential gems to the back of the automotive design shelf, and then into obscurity. Vision. What you have demonstrated with this tasty item here is clear vision to see past the corporate chrome clutter and see the BONES of a good mild kustom. Very good work, understatement, color choice and de-chroming. Much kudos to you sir! I think Russ will like this if/when he sees it.
