As to if this model is trakable or not, this is a direct quote from the Guidelines post Bob made years ago: 4. It's really very simple......Traditional styled pre-1970 rod (1969 and older) , kustom (concepts are acceptable) , vintage drags and salt flat cars ONLY! (some pre 40's dirt trackers and other racers are acceptable)Based on the above criteria, even though it fits as to the year of eligibility, it's essentially a model of a stock automobile with a set of Cragar SS mags added. Thus, I too fail to see how this is trakable. But, I've been down this road here before, & often with the same responses as seen in this thread. Over the years this forum has slowly been diluted from what it was originally meant to be. Now, if the reason the forum has gotten watered down, (& even more of late), is from a dearth of era & style appropriate models, then perhaps it's time to merge this forum with the Drastic Plastics forum, & put TRaK to rest. If that's not the reason, then perhaps some adjustments need to be made to the moderation, & I don't necessarily mean changing moderators, but tightening up what is & isn't allowed here. Some things have started sliding more & more. Here's the post I took the quote from, for context & additional info: trakinscale.proboards.com/thread/8980/guidelines-posting-on-trak

omggg Hot Rod Tom...you made me spit coffee with a visual of all of us standing around a tree peeing up to see who has the most pressure! LMAO! I needed that today! The rest of it can go away now! The pics were posted...and that's that. Time to move on...appreciate the builds ..say so...and..let's get to buildin! (still giggling...)

OK I've heard enough. After review I agree that the Falcon is NOT TRaKable by the guidelines set forth here by Bob. I have deleted the pictures. We will be more vigilant in future. Now lets get back to building!

Thank you all for your input. I think this was handled maturely and for me to further explain... (which point was made by Mark Moore)
It's a stock vehicle with Cragars from what I remember seeing. Yes it could be considered as a high schoolers "hot rod" , but it lacks a lot of what really makes a car a hot rod at a glance
If the car had a "stance" with pin stripe accents, different color/s used for the paint job, maybe a Kustom shifter or something "Kustom" added for details it could have passed.
Keep in mind, nobody is trying to be a hard ass here. I think the appropriate discussion and actions were made.
Thanks guys, keep kicking butt on the builds !
and please feel free to share your builds on our sister site! DPMCC , it's there for any of us who cross share other styles/interests on this site.

Got another one done a 64 falcon Sprint drop top Sorry Carl your Falcon was deemed not TRaKable and removed from the thread. Hope you understand. In the future if unsure about TRaKabilty of a build please post in the "Is This TRaKable" section. Thanks. It's Ok, you never know when you will get someone's nose out of joint

My nose wasn't out of joint. I didn't mean for this to blow as as it did. I just asked how it was TRakable. I've had cars taken off in the past too.

i don't think the confusion implies it's not a nice model. i'd sport around town in a ride like that. growing up, muscle cars were all the "thing" with the guys on the street. Novas, Chevelles, Mustangs, Falcons, GTOs, everyone was jacked up in front with cragars all 'round.
it was a good time.
