Very nice! But are my eyes fooling me? That chassis doesn't look as long as the MPC Garlits Wynnscharger is, being the 200+ wheelbase Don Long chassis also found in the Ivo/Too Much/Young American, etc. kits. It appears to be missing one of the diagananols in front of the engine and maybe another vertical and structural segment in front of that. Did you shorten it? If so it's very artfully done. Or maybe it's the bulk of the Competition Coupe body that balances out the length, somehow...

Man, that is sweet. Has the right "sit" to it, and your construction is nice and tidy.

You've nailed it. That color sure says Sixties.

Wicked. I don't know enough about the particulars of 60s Comp Coupes to judge whether or not it's "accurate", but it looks good to me! The color is punchy, the detailing rewarding to observe, and the stance is nasty (in a good way). It "feels" like everything I love about Comp coupes. Well done

The splices are cut down to slip into Special Shapes brass Micro tubing. A touch of CA glue and a Tamiya 6mm flat Diamond File blends the brass, CA and plastic close to perfect. A touch of Gunzi MR Liquid Putty and a rub with 320 sandpaper makes it invisible. Paul

Really great build. Chassis appears to be a different color orange. Really a nice color combo. What's the chassis color?

It's Krylon Fusion Safety Orange. I really kind of expected the contrast to be more, but I'm happy with the results. Paul
