Lowered suspension, channeled, chopped and rear window made close to stock size. Pancaked and pie cut hood, rolled rear pan with full size tailgate. Filled and sectioned Chevrolet C10 rear fenders. Shaved doors and passenger side cab vent filled Custom. running boards and bed rail exhaust. Front fenders rolled in on bottom to match grill. 55 Chrysler seat and dashboard. Reel to reel tape player. 354 Chrysler Hemi and Power Flite auto trans. Paint is Tamiya gloss Black water based acrylic. One friend from the Lost in the 50's club gave the best comment when he saw it yesterday on my bench. "all I see is a custom grill and custom hub caps on a stock truck, it doesn't seem really customized" . Paul

Handsome. I especially dig the Hemi with the stocker air cleaners and the generally low key but none-the-less full custom treatment. The full sized rear window disguises the chop, even though the lowered roof line definitely improves the proportions. It's all so well balanced that I'm having trouble spotting the channel job - which is how you want it if the goal is a tasteful restyle like this.

It's all so well balanced that I'm having trouble spotting the channel job - which is how you want it if the goal is a tasteful restyle like this. For the channel job, I basically just moved the cab down the thickness of the filler between the cab and the running boards (it sits directly on the running boards). That trick lowered the cab a scale 8 inches. The bed is not channeled, so the space between the bottom of the rear glass and top of pick up never even draws your eyes to the channel job. Paul

Paul, the subtle color belies the many changes you made to this truck. As nice a custom truck as any cruising down the pike. Like👍 Gary

Great job Paul. If I remember correctly the hemi is from a Mobius kit. Looks really sweet in there. Is the air cleaner Molotow chrome? Again, great job.

Surprisingly subtle for such a heavily modified truck! The paint color helps some of the custom work slide under the radar for sure. Lots of details to appreciate (I like the matching canted taillights) but the one that jumps out and grabs me is, oddly enough, the Chrysler seat! It just gives the truck some extra personality and gives the ribbed wheel covers something to pair with. Very cool
