Just because it's reminiscent of a later time proves that P & J dipped into the proverbial styling pot and pulled out a timeless winner. There were plenty of Forties running around during the late forties, fifties and early sixties with this sort of vibe. Heck, slap a Carson top on the thing and you've got a period perfect custom cruiser! I for one cannot see any good reason that it needs to be banished to the too late for TRAK bin!

About that Carson top. I made one from scratch that since it was made for this model, fit pretty well. But, it started warping as the glue cured. End of story, it's no good to use now. Gary
