I got this idea from a friend who did this trick on a Revell SnapTite '57. It's sectioned 3 scale inches just under the side trim. Then I modified the front and rear custom pans from the AMT '56 Ford. Plans are to fill in the taillights with the custom taillight fillers from the old tool Revell '56 Chev, but I only have one taillight filler. If anybody has another one, I sure would like to have it... ;D Randy

Randy, this is one of the best sections that I have seen on a '56. Clean, well executed, hidden. To the untrained eye, it is not noticed. Most would look to the suspension as what makes it look lower. Leave that top the way it is (I think that was your plan!) and flake the hell out of the paint job, with white T&R interior and whitewalls on chromies. Perfect '60's ride, man! Looks great.
