After seeing Jay's '40 tudor I decided it wuz time ta get out my chopped and sectioned '39 and get it finished. The front fenders have been stretched both directions and the rears to the rear. In profile, the grille leans forward and the headlights are extended much like automotive art depicting a speeding vehicle.

Man, that is beautiful, the only thing bugging me is the space right behind the doors...the sides are just too open for me. But the lines of the car, the paint, beautiful!!!

Wow! That's outstanding Jon ! I've always loved the long, low, swept back look and that has it all ! I've started then packed away several similar projects but after seeing Yours and Jays, I think I'll get back on em, Thanks for the Inspiration!

Thanx for the kind words, guys. Part of the sleekness comes from the fact that the whole rear of the car has been pivoted on a point just behind the quarter window... that leans the top forward while the rear pan extends further back. Jed... yer right. Not a part is unmodified. Bill... please do get yours out. We'd all like to see them. Cretribe... yeah, there's space behind the door but, remember... this ain't a Chip Foose design. The concept wuz one of a speeding car from '30s or '40s auto art.
