You all say commie like it's a bad thing. FWIW I think the comments above (including mine) are far too much politics for this forum. A car is a car regardless of the political views of those making it.

I don´t know if I consider this truly Trakable myself, but I thought I might give it a try. It´s a Hasegawa VW Type2 Delivery Van, almost straight out of the box. /Manne

Well it's got fade paint and is lowered on some slick rolling stock... Seems to pass better then some of the Type 1s that have been on here!?!
Awesome build by-the-way... ;D

Let's see... Astros, pinner whitewalls, fade-paintjob, lowered suspension... I don't see anything contradicting the TRaK-guidelines - Just an awsome Type 2...

Dig those rear tyres John. Where are they from?

Fred, these rear tires came from my parts box, They are Goodyear Wrangler RTS's , I think they came from an AMT snap tite truck kit (can't remember which one, maybe a Ford explorer or a Chevy dually).

To help narrow the options down, I've just checked my AMT Chevy 3500 Dually snap-fast kit, and it has a set of BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A which look very different from the ones you've used.

Knew those tyres looked familiar. Just found 4 in my parts boxes. AMT put them on the '96 Chevy Blazer (and so probably also on the Explorer they released at the same time). The sidewall lettering is a bit prominent on mine but that can be shaved. I would never have thought to use them on a rod until you showed me the way John...
Now, I have a paint question. How TRaKable would a satin painted body with a gloss flake roof be? I've seen it on kustoms that are around now, but back in the day?

Fred, I don't know how many were like that....but there definately were unfinished paint jobs around....so I would not rule it out.
