Ooooooh I am diggin this chevy. Nathan: I know that you can get aftermarket slicks, or they can be painted on with tamaya paints i think. I do my whitewalls with paint on whiteout.

Real nice.I like the color on that one.To respond to the question about wide whites,you use Tamiya Flat White.Go buy a stencil with all the circle cutouts and find the one you want to use ,set it over the tire and air brush the paint on.You can use Lacquer thinner to wipe away the over spray.Or you can use a liquid mask and peel it away after the paint dries.Or if you have a steady hand you can brush the paint on,air brushing works the best in my opinion.Hope this helps ya.

The wide whites i did by hand with a pen called Painter from the craft section at wally world.
THanks for all the comments on this build! i am just happy to have her back. i did have to put some pieces back on cause the post office nocked some things off.

I like this. My dad has a 36 chevy with a 331 Hemi in it. I need to build a model of it.
As for the Whitewall slicks, I have only made 1 set, but I used the hollow slicks (some are solid) and just cut out the side. I then placed a whitewall insert (from the Revell 40 ford kit) into the hole.
