Sorry to hear that but when you said bad news I was expecting you say you sat on it or it rolled off the bench! Me too! It sounds like it's still salvageable though - good luck!

OK, so it's nearly nine years since the last update. Man does the time fly by! The paint hasn't been touched since the last picture posted back then. By the way, since all my previous pictures were posted via peebucket they are no longer visible. You can however go to my "in progress" folder in my Fotki (link under the picture below) until I figure out how to move the old pictures to this new folder. I was trying to do my version of Richard Gregg's sedan turned pickup, and planned to follow that plan. Even now there's no way I can get my paint to look like his so I'll veer off of that path. Also, though I never did a picture of the model with the Plymouth wheelcovers, since taking it out of the box again last week I realized I just didn't like the look of the model with them. Now it has the "Boranni" wires that look a whole lot classier on it and really are a vast improvement in its appearance. The hood is polished and finished but the body will need sanding and more red metallic added. I really hope to have one more day this year to do that painting. Hosted on FotkiI'm always happy to get your comments! Gary

That looks really good! These Shoebox Fords make great Pickups as well. I like the color a lot and those wire wheels are a great choice, too. Hopefully we will see this beauty finished sooner than later.

Popular colour, me like. I'm thinking this one gets some jewelry, perhaps the 58 Impala -ish side spear? Wire wheels for sure. Killer build.

Tough AND classy with the side pipes/wire wheel combo. Interesting. I'm a fan of that Impala-looking side spear, looking forward to seeing it in foil
