Beautiful work Michael - It's great to see one of Rik Hoving's '40 Roadster Pickups built with such attention to details and finish!

Super clean, and great detail, and choice of rolling stock. Those sombreros are killer ( or are they 56 Lincoln with Cad centres).

Michael; your '40 is very clean, and to the point, everything works well together, and is flawless; beautiful !

I haven't seen one of these in a long time. You did a great job on it.

Beautiful! The extensive detailing sets it off nicely. I love those caddy caps too...

Thanks guy.
Yes this kit was one of my holy grais that I was looking for years. I had finshed the model that Rik had starterd shortly after the Norm had released the kit.

Killer!
Looks like a coachbuilt custom that a movie star would drive in the 40's. That big trunk would hold a lot of golf clubs!

I always meant to order one of those back when they were available, but never got around to it. Then I tried to score on from the master maker himself, Rik Hoving, when he sold off his personal collection a few years ago, but missed out. Thanks to a new friend I am about to acquire one (once I can scrape the cash together).
Michael, you've done a beautiful buildup of this. Just the right amount of well executed detail all around. I especially dig the flattie. What sets this 3D printed one apart from the other kit, or aftermarket flatties available?

It was the fastest way to get one instead of ordering one from The Parts Box or RMOM. THat was the only reason. And I didn't want to use a 8BA from Best Resin or the 8EQ from Kitchen Table resin.
