A couple of years ago, I started a kustom '56 F-100, based on a kitbash of the AMT '53 F-100 with the Revell Chip Foose '56 FD-100. My original goal was to create a "stock" '56, then customize it my way. Well, recently I really delved into researching all of the mods that went into Foose's truck, and decided to reverse all of his changes to create a truly stock-bodied '56. But, since it's just not in my DNA to build anything 100% stock, it may end up being a mild custom, but stock-bodied truck. So here's my first mockup sitting on all fours. The mods that I reversed are: the 1" pie-cut through the cowl area, the pie-cut in the crown of the roof (I couldn't find any info on the exact amount, so I "eyeballed" it), and the pie-cut of the hood. Most of this build is the AMT '53, with the "corrected" greenhouse of the Foose truck grafted in. Lowered '53 chassis. I'll probably steal the Y-block from the old-tool Revell '56 pickup.

Nice job Randy - It already looks far better than the Foose kit!
