Uhhh, that's one of your modeling links? OKAAAAY No it's not & I apologize. I copied & pasted the link from a thread I started here. I honestly have no idea where that came from. I've deleted it & will post the correct link. BTW, I have nothing against porn or people watching it, but that was a weird glitch of some kind.

Link has been fixed in my earlier post. I dunno what happened, but when I tried to fix it on my phone last night, that porn link kept popping up. And, a few minutes ago, when I went to go to the page to link here on the desktop, the site took me to the search function, & not to my threads. It took a 2nd try to get there, but it's fixed now. I dunno if it's my WiFi or something at this site, but there was a glitch. And again, I sincerely apologize to anyone here that clicked on that wrong link.

Yesterday afternoon's update. I popped off the ABS rear window frame and started a new, more appropriate shaped rear window. The "glass" will be a windshield from an AMT 40 Ford Coupe. There's not very much thickness left on the rear of the top so I'll have to do some reinforcing where needed. The pencil line will be the approximate new shape. I see a lotta work ahead, but enjoy that. Hosted on FotkiGary

I think this new direction with the back of the roof is much better.

Coming along really nice Gary. I think the window looks much better now.

You realize it will need a set of golf clubs from the old MPC Gang Buster Chrysler now. Paul

Cutting to the chase, the rear window and the opening are finished, less putty, sand, etc.. I ultimately used a 49 Ford windshield. The angle matched the rear of the body so closely, and it was taller than the 40 piece. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiGary

Your revised rear roof/window treatment looks spot on.

I'm really glad you guys like where this is going. Curiously, my wife said that it is my worst model ever. I'm hoping that will change when I at least get some primer on it. Gary

PERFECT! My wife says my 51 Ford Vic is a "horrible and uncomfortable car. I hate it." But she always want to go out in it. I take what she says with salt and a lemon wedge.

So much better. The roof really goes with the car now. I can understand your wife's comment. Often customs IMHO aren't that much of an improvement, especially radical customs. But that isn't the point. It's to take something and mold and modify it into something that is uniquely different. You're doing a great job.

I approve of the changes to the rear window!! Tons of work (wow) but it makes such a positive difference. As for "worst model"...lol! That's some scorching opinion right there It's certainly a bold choice and has a hint of that stanky late-60s, 1970s feel, which of course makes it perfect.
Bill Cushenberry, Darryl Starbird, Carl Casper....you could push it even crazier and you'd be in good company. The trick is to stop short of "too much", like these guys maybe should have:
