This looks great! Really like the look of a blown Flathead. Those stiffening ribs in the inner fenders are a nice touch also.

Paul, I like this one even better with the Flathead Vs. Hemi. We can always use another Deuce Roadster project around here. Thanks for sharing your progress and the backstory on how it came to be.

I agree with Skip. The blown flathead looks a lot cooler.

Finalized the engine and trans mount for engine location. set the body, hood and grill shell in place to locate the carb stacks. I'll post a few photos on how to adapt the wheels from the Revell Model A to the Revell 32 Ford (or similar style) axle nubs. So easy it should be a crime. Looks great Paul. I think I need to get my eyes checked. That last picture looked blurry to me. :-)

This is looking great! I'm not a huge fan of how small and insignificant a flathead can look in the engine bay, but of course if you stack it as high as this one...wow! Looking forward to seeing more of this one

I've been using Duane Spencers '32 as a loose reference, built in the very early 1950's with Flathead Mercury power. I used the Revell 29 Ford Steelies and tires on it. I found that the Revell centers fit into the 29 wheels so the Revell push lock axles work instead of the ones with the pins. Cut them down to the jog on the inner wheels and simply glue in. Easy as that. For the fronts I cut out an .010 plastic disc and modified the cycle fenders to fit higher. The 29 front tires are 1/8 inch taller then the 32 ones. Gee it's an awful lot of work just so I can use the Duvall windshield legitimately.
