i originally built this model last year around this time, i did bodywork with automotive bondo, and a red plastic cup as an experiment. after it was finished, and sat for a while, the bodywork slowly started to sag, so i took my hobby knife one day, and ripped it all out, and started fresh. i used evergreen plastic this time around, and squadrons putty, so now its much stronger and better looking than last time. this time i'm going for a late 50's early 60's mildish-radical custom look. not too crazy, and not stock looking. i'll show pics of it from the beginning, when it first got the chop, when it was finished the first time, and how it is now. chopped... done for the 1st time reconstruction begun... and where its at currently.... sombreros from the new merc kit, what a great universal wheel!! looks a bit rough, dont it?

Hey ! i know that car ! i think i'm kinda godfather of that baby ! ;D Don't know why you redone it but, anyway, keep us posted ! Ps : you're right it's safer to wear at least one spotlight during the progress ! ;D thanks zed, i re-did it because the old bodywork started to warp, and i thought it was time for a change, this time it'll be brighter, and more custom! and yes, you are somewhat involved in the reason this car exists, when i was looking around your site, i came across your '40 in progress, and that was the only inspiration i needed, so thank you!
