The Victoria is my all time favorite body on a ยด32. Unfortunately I am not able to post pictures of the one I have build. Because it is not traditional.

Hey Matt !!!! thanks my friend for the inspiration, it has helped ;D!!! i've got an idea as you saw on the front page. i want to build my own frame and Z it, give it posable steering, chop the crap out of it, and, if i could find an Allison aircraft engine, build a '32 Vicky that looks like Jim Lytle's '34 Big Al(i've always wanted to try this with a Vicky) . i've always loved Big Al , as far as i'm concerned, Big Al is the perfect example of unique . i've found a couple of pictures(besides my avatar)and i want to post them with my avatar and have them do exactly what Fidge's avatar does . i do need to find some interior shots though. i'm not sure how or where to find these however . if any of you guys can help with interior pictures of Big Al and have or know where i can get the V-12 Allison like Big Al ran, please let me know, ok ?

AMT Parts pack made the Allison available; the one posted with the 'drag' pack in another thread has it in it...beg, borrow, steal, I'm certain you can find someone here who has one they'll let you have.

Hey Duane! Sounds like a cool project - As you know, I'm working on a replica of the '34 bodied version.
I have a 4-page article about Lytle's cars, and some nice high-resolution reference pictures somewhere on another harddrive, that I'll try to dig up for you.
About the Allison engine, you don't have to buy the "Allison Thunderland" Thunderbird - Stevens international has announced that they will re-release the AMT parts-pack Allison in a kit with four other custom engines (Chevy SB, Corvair-6, Chrysler 392 Hemi and a Pontiac 421) AND a custom Model-T drag body, some time in 2008.

Chris, thank you for this advice and help. i'll check out the S-I website and see when it'll be offered. as for your research , i DO appreciate the helping hand very much. i'm definitely anticipating checking out the research that you've done on Big Al.
PF, i'm still researching but when i get started there WILL BE pictures AND text LOL.
Tom, YOU BET i'm going to use your tutorials !!! that's the reason that i asked for the one making the posible steering !!! any type of tutorial that i can access will be a great help in making this upcoming build be what i want it to be. i don't have any kind of deadline that must be followed; so i can take my time and, i'm sure that this build will come out as i want it to. thank you for doing the tutorials that you've done. i feel that because you've showed me how, it's made this particular build come that much closer to being a reality.

Oh, I just remembered one odd detail about it: Big Al used an original '34 Ford front axle, and the steering box came out of an Austin Healey.
There's an article about the car (Before the full chop, when it was still all steel) in a '63 issue of "Popular Hot Rodding", February I think...
