I'm building an in-progress rod. 40 Ford pick-up in primer to be exact. Very TRaKable with a 289 providing the go-power. My question is this...........if I made some rubber floor mats with a Ford logo on them would they still be period correct for the late 60's? Did they make/sell such things back then? I was still a gleam in Dad's eye at the time.
I found some medical tape that with a little semi-gloss black makes a PERFECT rubber floor mat.

Rob, I know that I bought logoed floor mats in the early 70's for my Nova, so I would imagine they would have been available in the late 60s as well. I remember Cal-Custom had all kinds of stuff like that.

Yes. I am sure that they were availabale, and like Dave said, from Cal-Custom, Mr.Gasket, EMPI, J.C. Whitney or many of the other afttermarket manufacturers at the time.

J.C.Whitney had them in 1966, cause I had a set in my 62 chevy. Or was that Honest Charley? Oh well I know they had them in 66.
