Very cool idea! That is a good way to do a little parts box cleaning if it's getting too full as well. I guess I don't need to ask what color you're going to paint it now do I? (R U S T ;D) Are you going to mount it on a base and dioram-ify it? It would be pretty sweet with underbrush "growing" out of some of the larger rust holes. Keep us posted!

i reckon i need to be careful. we were talkin about a MAMMARY colored Merc once and i THINK i got in trouble. oooohh well, it WAS worth it lol.

I really like where this one is going. Holy crap is exactly what i would say if i found a 34 coupe...and no matter how wasted it was I would still mess with it. So was it the main body or the fenders that was warped on yours? I heard on another site that some kits had warped fenders and others had warped bodys.

Great idea you've got here. Here's a little idea you could take a drum sander in your dremel and thin the plastic a little from the inside in the areas where the bullet holes are.

the body was warped on this one, which i noticed while trying to channel it.
Craig, i did thin the inside of the body already by a pretty good amount with my Dremel. it's actually pretty fragile as it sits now. the frame keeps everything in shape. Dave
