No progress yet, but this is what I'm thinking: I won't be doing an exact replica, but something very similar. I'm going to add a Model A cross member in the rear and a quick change rear end from AMT's Double T kit. Stay tuned!

Sounds good! The Ala Kart could furnish wheels and front tires, and the Rat Roaster has those rear tires.

Awwww man..... I'm gathering parts to do the same car. Like yours, not an exact replica, but close. Just got the paint today.

That looks nice. I have one on the way, but I'm thinking something more like this, though not such a deep channel. Yes, it's a bit gawky looking, but it made an impression on me when I first saw it in a group shot in my old copy of The Best of Hot Rod.

That would be an awesome one to build! I like how the upholstery wraps over the top of the doors.

That lead picture is of a really sharp looking car. The models we will be able to build with the new Revell kit will be wild! Gary

Looking forward to follow this one, the rear treatment is really important to me so it will be nice to see what you come up with!

Randfink,
I may even change the color of mine, so go ahead and start painting yours! LOL
I'm going to dig into the kit tonight. Something NEEDS to be done about those wheelwells, so I'll try filling them in and might add some bobbed fenders and cycle fenders on the front...

I've had these Modelhaus tires forever, waiting for the right project. I think they are T-120 and T-180. The wheels are from the recent reissue of the AMT '36 Ford.

After a lot of thinking, I'm going to build a highboy with the Model A frame instead of the '32. Dennis Lacy is doing this on another board and it just looks way better. The kit's '32 frame looks too bulky for this little roadster body.

THIS MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION, BUT DO ALL MODEL A BODIES FIT FLUSH (WIDTH WISE) ON A '32 FRAME, OR DOES ONE OR THE OTHER HAVE TO BE MODDED?
THANKS
