You really did a fantastic job removing the boards, fenders and cleaning up the frame. The engine is very cool too.

Thanks everybody for all the input and compliments. I really appreciate it! I have been working on this here and there. I started the interior over a week ago and didn't touch it again until last night when I did an embossing powder session. I do love the stuff..... you can paint it, layer it, trim the edges, redo it easily and on and on. I still have to add another layer but it looks decent for some progress pics. ;D Here's the interior section job: ...and a final mockup from the session: I also added the radius arms for the front end and primed the chassis again. I blackwashed the engine too, but no pics yet... I plan on getting some work done on it tonight and I'll report back with progress later.

OK, I've got another small update. I got the firewall stripped and trimmed. I also had to put a few more coats of clear and polish it. Here's before the extra clear: ........and here's the extra clear polished out: ;D I didn't take any shots before polishing...... don't know why. I also did a bit of interior work too. "Carpet" is done, and the dash is too: I'm happy with it. I did have a casualty, though. I have the original issue hood to go with this,(no louvers) and I was finishing up shooting clear on it and the body when I accidentally flipped the hood over onto the freshly shot paint! I hollered a few choice words and carefully picked it up and flipped it back over. After that, I somehow managed to stick the back of my hand to the damn thing! Talk about insult to injury! Grrrr..... Well, I do have a shit load of clear on it. Maybe I can actually polish it out..... I know I'm gonna try! I'll keep y'all posted on that.

Thanks again, guys! ;D I have a little more progress to report. Even with the All-Nighter build, I managed to get more done on this. I got the grille blackwashed and the firewall is painted and installed. I also glued the interior to the body now but you can't really see that. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I robbed the front tires from the younger of the two built ups I have. They look soooo much better than the latest issue's tires.

Well, I got some more work done tonight. It lurches ever closer to the finish line.... I did up a set of fuel lines for the first time. The two tank-bound lines are just wrapped around the bottom of the firewall and glued down. You can see the ignition wire holes drilled and waiting for me to scrounge up some wire around here...... I also managed to get more polishing done. Probably only going to add one more coat of wax and call the paint done. ..... and I actually have the headlights done early for a change!(usually one of the last things I do.) ;D Not too many things left. Next installment should be on the shelf! EDIT: Where are my manners? Thanks for the kind words again guys! I appreciate it!

That black paint is almost to shiny for that car..haha Cruz's polishing classes pay off don't they. ;D I have one to do soon also. For plug wires I use armature wire from RadioShack, you get a lot of wire for not a lot of money.. Later
