Finishing up a couple of builds, but I can't help looking at the 32 I got from Dave. Thanks, Revell, for not chopping it for us. I'd rather do it myself!!!! ;D

KOOL I almost did mine last saturday nite for our all night build. Then I chickened out. I got the idea what to do with it in my head. I want to do away with 4 bar and put some bones on it. Anyone got some ideas on what to use for split wish bones? ;D Thanks

Y' get past the model A's and you have to lenghthen the tops or do some radical pillar work. I find it easier to cut out the tops of the B pillars and realign the door seams after stretching the top.

Other than choppin the top, this is pretty much gonna be out of the box for the rest of it. I did drop the front another 1/16 inch. Called for a few mods. and I cobbled up a set of wishbones to replace the 4 links. I need to get some more Etched carb fittings from MCG. I want to detail these a little.

i was lookin through my '32 kit and noticed that the 302 only has a single 4bbl yet the flattie has a tri-power. i wonder if the manifolds will interchange? hhmm, i've got a '66 Nova with a 350 and dual quad setup.

Duane, That may not be THE way to do it, but it's how I did/do. If you haven't done this before, you should be aware that the heroic, feel good hacking is the easy part. You will have to deal with repairing all of those window moldings if you want a primo job. ;D Not wanting to discourage you, it's not all that bad just a little TLC. Gob of Bondo putty on the top corner is filling the hole where I have wire pins reinforcing the A pillar bond.

Clay, because you've taken the time to explain your chop to me, i'm sure i can do it. thank you for going into detail of how you did it cause now, you got me wantin to chop mine.
i LOVE the chop that you've done it's PERFECT !!!!
i almost forgot to ask, do you pin all your chops? it seems like a good idea for strength and structural integrity. it would be the same as pinning a "Z" in a frame. damn !!!! the idea of pinning chops and frames is something i'm gonna have to play with now.
