Killer. I truly enjoyed seeing this model come together, and the final product is bang-on. That kit grille is definitely the way to go IMHO. I wouldn't have even remembered the fenders are bobbed if you hadn't mentioned it...how could a deuce look any other way!?? They blend right into the frame horn covers out back.
One of my favorite things about this build is the upward sweep of the Y-block headers on display in the open engine bay. Combined with the massive rubber rake, they give the car a "fast while sitting still" appearance. The white-painted block and running gear seem dainty compared to the aggressive chop and stance; like an enameled sledgehammer or something. Neato.
The other thing I can't take my eyes off of is the fat ol' radiator support bar. Normally that would bug me, but in this case, particularly because it's painted black and curved to jog over the air cleaners, it matches the rest of the car's "muscle" attitude.

Yes I do.......now quit giving me the finger! LOL! Either of you two sure you're not related,,, I mean your profile pics are starting to look eerily similar, those hairlines and all. (Ed seems to have a more "Classical Profile" suited to being a smart Alec though!) Then there is that whole sibling rivalry thing that seems to be going on of late; well every since the whole grill cover thing where someone whom should remain nameless began jabbing the other about how horrible the cover looked.... How else are friends suppose to treat each other?! LOL! You only pick on your friends. Those who can't take it either don't get real humor or they're mama's boys.....and you wouldn't want to hang out with them anyway! LOL!

Very nice! I really like that color! I'll have to give that a try on a project. The Y block is especially cool! Makes me want to get back on my Y block 5 window.

Great looking Hot Rod Dennis😎 The Metallic Brown and aggressive chop definitely conjure up memories of Doyle Gammell’s 3 window deuce. Love the Y Block and widened Radirs.

I can’t believe you’re so fascinated by the that piece, it was literally a last-minute/car otherwise done decision because as usual I forgot to fill the hole in the firewall - LOL! So if you want to see another like it keep an eye on my Fordor project because I forgot to fill the hole in that firewall, too! Hahaha

I’ve had some guys on MCM and on Instagram also mention Doyle Gammel. I can see it now but honestly I never gave that car so much as a fleeting thought while building this...

I’ve had some guys on MCM and on Instagram also mention Doyle Gammel. I can see it now but honestly I never gave that car so much as a fleeting thought while building this... While you were building it I thought Doyle Gammel, too. But it's far more aggressive than the Gammel coupe. There's hardly a detail that isn't more "amped up" than that car. For one the Gammel coupe is a 3-wndow. Because of the resulting small quarter window, the 5-window body, when chopped, invariably looks more "cut" and all by itself increases the "attitude". And the Gammel coupe is primarily known for it's hood sides - you know, the ones with the 'Vette Fuel Injection script on them. Oh yeah, and as long as you were doing a Doyle Gammel tribute, why didn't you put a Moon Tank across the front? And Radirs vs. Torq-Thrusts? Bobbed rear fenders? Other than that they're almost identical. LOL!
