I love how you basically used the AMT Styline parts, but you put your own spin on it. And the paint work is to die for!

I was just doing some searching and came across this again, I forgot I had seen it and I am still impressed, this thing is so clean!

Dang, I missed this the first time around!August 30, 21. I am heavily involved in outdoor activities then. There are tears of joy running down my cheeks, soaking my too long beard now.

Flawless work Dennis!
One detail I really admire is the transition between the custom rolled pan and the lip of the front wheel openings. I've botched a couple of AMT Bel Airs trying to get it just "right" - You've nailed it!

I was following this on the MCM board, but I think I lost track of it. Looking gooood! It's got a nice 1965 era custom look.

Wow, really surprised to see this thread brought back to the top. Thank you to everyone! I really don’t know much about customs so I just did what looked good to me. Back in early November 2022 I attended the Spirit Of Speed 7 model show / contest / swap at the NHRA Museum here in Southern California and was beyond surprised to receive a First Place in the Customs category.
