Paul, I'm working on a 59 Imperial now and I used that same 63 Ford A Brothers headlight unit that you're using here. My Imperial will be on DPMCC in the near future as my wheel choice isn't TRaKable. Gary

Probably should have just bought a '63 kit.

Probably should have just bought a '63 kit. The way you made yours is more oval than the custom parts in the 63 Ford kit though, & to my eyes suits the up/down design of the 57 better than those kit parts would. Years ago, (back in the 90s!), I made some sketches of the AMT 53 Ford pickup with that 63 Ford custom part. I even started the project with the kit & the parts, measuring, cutting & test fitting things. I wasn't entirely satisfied with my ideas at the time, but I need to dig it outta the stash & try again, as I've gotten a few different ideas & better techniques, skills & tools since then. For now though I'm certainly keeping up with this build.

Instead of adding a '58 roof scoop how about a pair of '57 hood "rocket launchers" facing rearward? I've never seen that done before.

I'll have to play with that idea!

Is there still a 57 Chevy in there? What an amazing transformation.
