Sweeeeet!!!!!
I really dig the raccoon tail on the antenna & the subtle weathering on the exhaust.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone add headrests to this kit. They add a lot of personality! Love the raccoon-tail aerial and the blued headers, too. This is a unique and instantly recognizable build of Revell's '29, nicely done!

ALL of the above, AND the car magazine on the seat. Little touches do a lot! Nice👍 Gary

Great color choice. Nice Job! The extra added touches and flourishes make it a really nice little Hot Rod. I like those headrests on this one too everything you've done just kind of sets your '29 apart from the rest of the pack. Really Sharp little Rod!

Appreciate the comments guys. Those pictures are about 2 years old. I just took it out of my display case to clean it up and noticed that the rims are melting. Would the tires cause that?

That has been a problem in the past, especially with Revell tires in the 60's. I've never seen that with modern manufactured parts. I really hope this is a freak occurrence because lots of builders are using those sweet tractor tires on their builds since they debuted 6 years ago. Sorry it's happening to yours. Do you remember what glue you used (if any) to put the assembly together?

Thanks Craig. This is the glue that I use on all my builds. I only used it to glue the two Halves of the rims together and not the tires. I've built a lot of models over the years and never seen this happen before.

I had that happen a number of years ago and learned it was from incompatible chemicals in the new type plastic reacted with the flexible stuff added to the tires. I used the armor modellers ancient trick of coating the inside of the tires with clear acrylic resin on assembly. It acts as a barrier between the two. Testers Acryl Clears would probably work also. you know what dude? I really like this! bummer about the wheels but if those are vintage tires it happens, something in that old rubber causes that. I have heard of newer tires doing that too. it's something about petroleum or something like that. it's been awhile but I have not checked some vintage restores I did with original tires. I wonder if those have melted?
