Gary, if your modelhaus kit has a chassis that would also fit the '58 Pontiac and it's an "x-frame" it was probably cast from a '58 Pontiac kit part. Checking my '58 Pontiac against the '58 Roadmaster it looks like the chassis would need to be stretched about 3/16' of an inch. Since there was no 57 Buick kit Modelhaus must have used a de-warped promo body as a master. My guess, anyway.

As it turns out i had a 58 Buick chassis and did not know it, thought it was a Ford the way it has that cowbelly look to it. so thanks for the offer John but i do have one, many thanks though!!

Wow, this is going to be very cool! I also like Larry Watson's old work a lot so really cool to see that kind of flame paint job is being done on a scale model. The start looks very good already, can't wait to see more updates.
