Wicked Cool build! There is a rough version of your build every year at the Pine Tree Jamboree in Maine. I like it.

Nice job little fella. You've got a lot of talent for being just a kid. Aw, just messing with ya a bit. Saw your latest post in the kids section. I love the time period your builds fall into. Very nice pickup here, would be a fun ride in full size. Gary

the sheen on the paint is just about perfect.
Please share how you did the header.

Very cool lookin' Hot Rod! Just wondering if you used the metal part of an artist brush for the megaphone on the header pipe? Just curious because that's what I used a few times.

Thanks for checking it out guys. The body is Tamiya semi gloss black by the way. I painted the doors the day after I painted the body and they have a different sheen to them but it works. Kinda gives it a weathered look I think. I really like airbrushing the flat and semi gloss paints because dust specs landing in the paint, for me, are almost always an issue with gloss finishes and they barely show up on the semi gloss. For the header I cut the ends off of the optional muffler that came with the kit and glued bent styrene rods to it and molded them in with Tamiya putty. I really appreciate the comments, thanks.

And once again I mess up a reply. I posted a quote without a reply in it and don't know how to delete it. Aaaarg! So thank you again, I,m really glad you like my recent builds.

Another crisp clean build Richard. This and your other 29 Ford PU have sort of a 30/40's vibe of a in-process build. The owner has spent money on the engine and gotten the car about ready for paint. Nice work.
