Got er done! It's chopped, channeled, has a sectioned rad surround and a recessed firewall. The nailhead and steering wheel are from the AMT 40 Ford as are the headers which were modified to line up with the nailhead exhaust ports. The wheels and carbs are from the AMT 57 Chev. It has parts box tires and home made carb stacks. The paint is Model Master Ivory and the engine is Pontiac Engine Blue. It's my first chop and channel and it started out to be my first TRaK in scale submission but I took a break to finish the 29 Ford Pickup which I recently posted. When I posted the first pics of this build in On the freakin shelf I got some advice from some of you. I just wanted to thank you, it helped.

Nice job on the chop and channel. The color choice in my eye fits it well and the red wheels really set it off.

Period correct, has a subtle, low key appearance with that subdued color choice, offset nicely by the custom mods & red accent color. Very sharp!

Looks great Richard. Super clean look. Did you drill out the front axle? Really adds to the overall vibe. Beautiful job on the chop. Only complaint is I can't really see the interior. :-) Steering wheel great in the deeper blue. I think the shifter knob is the same color.

Thanks Dave. I did indeed drill out the front axle and as this is my first chop top I chose a relatively easy one. I struggle with interior pictures. I'm using my cell phone and I just can't seem to get a good interior shot. Not to blame the camera, I'm just not doing it right.
