AMT/Revell 1929 Roadster Pickup Kitbash

Finished this one back in January..

AMT 1932 Ford Phaeton chassis, engine, grill, headlights, wheels, and front tires. Body, bed, and top are from the Revell 1929 Ford Truck kit. Rear tires are AMT Parts pack, the wooden bed slats are from a Monogram kit and the rear wheels have been widened. Paint is Tamiya AS-19 Intermediate Blue (US NAVY).

Very tough looking little truck Pete. I love the fact that you removed most of the chrome on the engine and replaced it with black. Gives the impression that this is no trophy queen, this is a bruiser who will meet you out on the old two-lane beyond the city limits and then punch your teeth out and take your pink slip. Kick-ass

Now the rest of that RPU is just eye candy to the max! You got just the right blend of wrecking yard
parts and back yard, one car garage build. Dolled up Ford motor and chassis, the color, the interior
just all cry out early Hot Rod. Like the kool high school kid might have drove!

I also like the combination of that flat blue paint job and black. Plus that it's nice to see a Roadster Pickup with an uptop, don't see that done too often. Very nicely done Hot Rod!
