Built from a 1974 Monogram kit I had in my stash forever. Added a few parts to turn it into a hot rod. Slicks and rims are from the boot hill express kit, front axle, front tires and rims are from the parts box.The engine is a parts pack 354 caddy. Paint is Tamiya orange and cleared with wet look. Thanks for lookin'Beautiful work.....love the paint job. Painting is still a challenge for me especially a high gloss finish - even after polishing with Novus 1 and 2. I know Tamiya rattle cans make a nice finish out of the can, just curious if you airbrushed the Tamiya orange, and is the clear gloss the old Testors "wet look" for their two part lacquer?

Thanks bud! I decant all my paints for airbrushing even the Testors wet look clear. Airbrushing gives you more control over how much paint goes on the model.
