I like the Fiesta front with the mags on the rear and if the mags were unchromed. Full Moons are definitly not a good look, unless yer taking it to the salt. Decal still too cool to completely obliterate.....

thanks for the votes guys! ..... ok it looks as if the 5spokes may be the ones! i will paint the spokes but gotta leave the outer ring chrome the front moons.....were just "mockup wheels".....would never put them on this car unless i was building the box art model.... more to come tonight!

Definitely the flippers with the five-spokes. I'd paint those spokes gold- it'll work with the engine color and would look cool weathered!

i have cut the frame behind the Z so i could shorten it up. it's rather hard to tell exaclty how much i need to shorten at this point, but i need to get the axle moved forward to fit the radius bar. just a little crap to deal with since this is an old glue bomb missing parts Hosted on Fotki

just a small update....i have had to shorten the chassis , cut a hole in the rear floorboard, repair the passenger side hairpin in 3 places...not easy with such fragile parts .... ....oh and gouged he rear "quarters" to leave clearance for the shocks ....actually it was an accident on one side and i just made the other side match...but it makes sense! the daggumb things clear the body just right ! *front wheels are for mockup only* Hosted on Fotki

oh and there is much weathering to be done yet...not gonna overkill the car, but every part of the chrome that is missing chrome....will have rust, i think it will look pretty natural. the roof being chopped .... i will run a weld bead around it and rust that too.... the door hinges will be bare steel or primer depending on how i feel at the time...mainly because they would be pretty rusty and someone would have used a wire wheel to clean them up.....
