how bout, the ONLY THING them stupid lookin Donk wheels ud look good on is a skool bus? better actually would be on fire. i hate those stupoid lookin things. thanks, Duane These are not donk wheels. Although they don't fit in on this board they aren't bad wheels. They would have been sooo much cooler if they had a bit more offset. Out of the box they look like wal mart 9.99 hubcaps. saoutlaws, as far as the rest of the kit, it's really nice. The stock version is one of the best pickup kits ever, and this time they added some hop up parts for the engine to make it even better. there is a new intake and aircleaner, and valve cover. There is also a visor for the stock version, plus a really nice set of decals.

the diameter of those wheels arent bad, it's the huge bolt pattern that Revell seems to like putting on rims lately that ruins them. they messed up the 200-S style rims in the '66 wagon kit the same way. i mocked up my '41 with these wheels on it and swapped the rear tires for the ones from the "new" Thunderbird kit. they are a bit taller in sidewall profile and fit the rims in this kit nicely, also giving you a big-n-little combo. Yeah those wheels arent donk wheels. I think its just the low profile tires that make them ugly. Can anyone measure the diameter of them? I need some radirs for project I got goin' on.
Back to the model...its looking awesome. I expecially like the wheels you are running on it... they fit the build perfectly.

Just curious, why did you completely smooth out the factory body lines on the cab?

Thats an interesting idea smoothing out the body lines. I havent seen that done before on this era of truck. It had me looking twice to see what the heck ya did. Its fresh and original and I like it.

because i find them ugly and the hood is next, Trying to go oldskool kustom here not Stock That seems like more of a "newskool" mod, blending it in and making it slab sided. I could see it being done if the thing was sectioned right through the body line. Otherwise it looks like a of bar of soap.
