Yes, it's easy to get carried away buying kits, isn't it? I have so many 'parts' boxes now that I have a hard time finding what I want when I want it for a particular project because parts can be in any box. It's so frustrating that I have considered buying a few plastic 'bin' style storage drawers at Home Depot and separating parts by: engines, tires+wheels, interiors, suspensions, bodies and so on to facilitate finding parts!

If you take a look at my model room, you'll see I was one of those guys.Pain in the ass sorting out the parts but once they are seperated,it makes it worth while when your searching for that one part.

Heres my corner of the basement "hole" and my "pile" the last time I had it out. Not as impressive as some of you, but it's more than I can build at this rate. When we build our home soon I will have a proper area, right now I build where ever i am sitting. I hate the cellar...

found this old one of my "bench" in my old house. you guys have seen my space now earlier in the thread, but it used to be like this for me. this was in a 12x10 room and i had it crammed full then. what didnt fit in the room was everywhere else in the house, in the basement rafters, in nearly every closet and under the bed in the master bedroom. it is weird though to look back, it wasn't all that long ago! Thats a sweet set up. Keep stacking the models against the wall like that and you will never have to paint the walls again.
