I was just scrolling thru this thread again, this is the coolest thread on here...I just love Steve's heater, that's so great, I had an in-wall air conditioner installed in my garage to cool it off to a reasonable temp so I can stand to be in there in the hot weather down here (most months except maybe December-March).

Bob, that desk is TOO neat, man! I mean, as in "Where is the stuff going on all over the desktop?" too neat. I have about 3 projects spread out on my desktop, and several "other" projects on there as well. Maybe that is one of the things that slows me down when I'm building. Too many distractions to sidetrack me from what I'm working on at the time.
Steve, you got a LOT of projects, my friend! I think I spied a Scool Bus in a couple of pics, and I seen a Pete 377 and several Scania's. The 377 would make an interesting "Hot Rod Deisel" truck. I have seen a few 379 Pete's, but not a 377. Would have to post that one up over on the DPMCC, though.

What started as a little tidying up today turned into a complete overhaul of my work area that lasted 5 hours. I havent completely cleaned it in years. Today i went through everything, its kind of cluttery, but i like it that way, you should have seen it before! Now i have a lot more room to build on, and everything is more accesible (not covered in junk) so how long do you guys figure it will be before its messed up again lol.

damn Don! have enough parts drawers? hehe nice mess ya got there, makes me wanna move in! No, I didn't. I have more now. You've only seen a smidgen of it here. 15x15 L shaped room, plus one side of the garage is FULL, That's the work area. Display area is also - well, in other rooms besides the 'model room/shop. But, not in HER rooms! Lot's of cool stuff in there I'm sure! My "HER" actually wanted me to put my display in the livingroom to keep it from getting ruined haha! I said "do you actually want my models in the livingroom?" she changed her tune.....

I got a new desk so I did a revamp of the building area. Here's what I started out with: Here's where the old desk now lives, which is the hallway leading to the room with the bench. I have a window right next to it and plan to modify it to be my paint booth. ...and here is the new desk! It's quite a bit bigger than the old one. I do like the extra room to stretch out. It sure helped me keep a clear head today to get the frame built for the French Bucket I'm working on. That chair with the old desk is the original and its getting thrown out because its broken and too small to be comfortable any more. (Its my set from when I was a kid...) Next is to start gathering parts to convert the old one to a spray booth! ;D
