I went digging in a parts box a few nights ago and found this hacked up 3w that I started last year. It "spoke to me" so here we go... It's sectioned 8 inches and channeled 4. Engine will be the Olds from the Beatnik Bandit. Tuck & roll bucket seats from an AMT Merc kit, rollbar from the same. Tuck & roll dash from the AMT '37 Chevy. Ansen slotted mags all around and a Jag IRS out back. Circa '63. ;D

very nice Matt! how hard was it to get the body between the fenders like that? i have wanted to do that for a long time, but unsure as to how. i prefer them unchopped, but that's the east coast coming out of me! Dave

Dave I like 'em unchopped a lot of times too. It wasn't too tough. I traced the fender arc onto the quarter panel and then cut the body so it would sit on the fender unit. Up front, a little curve off the bottom of the cowl sides. That's about it.

Thanks for the enthusiasm, guys! where did you find slotted mags? got any pics? I know the AMT '62 Vette has some but they don't have a nice dish to them. I'm looking at using the fronts out of an AMT '27 T Touring as the rears (they're deep enough, this was a '70s kit : , and the fronts from a reissued Hemi Under Glass as the fronts. I'll post some pix for you soon...

A sectioned, channeled, full-fendered unchopped '32 Ford? Awesome! The early '60's style couldn't be better for this build. With this parts list, it can't help but be cool.

one of the nicest sets of aluminum slots were the ones from the Monogram '66 Chevelle with the flip front, the red one. little hard to find those these days though! you know a nice 6-71 blown Max Wedge would look nice in there. Dave
