i got to messing around with a '32 roadster and the Cadillac from the new Merc kit. at first i just wanted to see how well it fit into the '32 frame out of curiosity, then next thing you know i got this mocked up in front of me! i like it for some reason, it just looks tough already. if i build it, it's going to be a drag car with one of the infamous East coast square roll bars. i did some more work to this one this evening. i made the rollbar and beat up the body some. it won't be a rat, but it will be a well used racecar! i have in my mind what would a '32 roadster that has been around the block too many times would look like, back when '32 Ford's werent all that hard to come by. here are some update pics. this is the aircraft seat i made and the roll bar. i still have to make a cushion for the seat bottom out of something and add some rivet details. i may add a brace for the rollbar that runs down to the frame by the firewall. Dave
