Been holding back on this, wasn't too sure if it would be worth finishing. Thought I'd mate an old dust catcher with a Carson top, so I sectioned it and cut off the roof.

this is definately radical and i have said i like it. the only thing i don't care for are the wheels....are they just for mockup? those things IMHO are some of the ugliest wheels found in kits. Clay, if you are in need of wheels , let me know i really like the rear end all smoothed , french tips too.

Dude !!!! I LOVE those wheels.
I think they came in that 55 panel kit. Not sure. Neither am I sure of their vintage. I thought they might be illegal for this forum is another reason I was hesitant to present it here.

I think the built it'self passes though. if you are stuck on those wheels, i guess not much i can do but if you want to change wheels? i have plenty and can help.

Yeah... the wheels are too new... so is the hoodscoop... but sticking a half dozen carbs through the hood would be right in line.

OK, no prob. "Different strokes for different folks" Thanks for the offer, Bob, but I'm getting myself stocked back up on steelies. In fact I have modified a rear one to take a wider tire and am casting myself some. I'm also casting a mag/Torkthrust type that I deepened. So I usually try to get by on what I have or can make. Modelhaus is out of my budget. For those who might want to follow this build, I'll keep it going in the DPMCC proboard forum. drasticplastics.proboards53.com/index.cgi?board=inaa&action=display&thread=1192759804
