I don't know if it will end up that way yet. I don't think there was one made 1:1 and just want to see what you all think if it's cool to fit this board or not. I will most likely make it the convertible impala instead of convertible el camino....but just curious.

I've actually been planning to do the same thing to a 59, using the spare windshield frame from the Revell '59 Hardtop kits.

Well one was never available factory stock, even in Australia where they did some weird (read very cool) ute roadster versions of cars we love. But when the hell did anyone round here worry about factory stock?
Brave to hack up an original when there's a decent resin version available... you knew there was a resin, right?
