i know some of you may have noticed this one on the back of my bench before. i decided to pull it out and have another look at it again. this is the first time i tried to subframe something and it turned out pretty good. the rest is supposed to be a weathered truck that had a butchered cab, so the guy goes out looking for a replacement and finds an old fire truck with a good cab. i know i'm not the only one who comes up with this stuff! anyway, i finished the interior up and got the windows in and closed the cab up for good. now it's on to the engine build which will be a tried and true small-block Chevy ! not very exciting, but it should look good when it's detailed and painted. That is pretty cool Dave. It's kinda like a counrty song, it's got a little story to go along with it. Mike.

You mean they don't normally have a narrative of some sort?

I find beater trucks very exciting. The more used and abused the better. And if they're made into hot rods, it helps fill in the gap made by the loss of a sex life. ;D That's a nice model. Anticipating the climax.

I sometimes have a story to go along with some of my builds it makes them a little more interesting.

Reminds me of an old sleeper back home. Beatup looking, but BEWARE. Under the hood was a souped up 460 cube lincoln engine
