This project have been sitting around for some time. It is a Revell Fiat Topolino body that will sit on a AMT Parts Pack T 23 frame. The engine is a BMW V8 from a vintage 507 BMW Convertible (!) The rims and tyres are from the Monogram Lill Coffin. The reason why I´m using such a exotic engine, is that this build started out as a online contest on a scandinavian forum, that stated that you had to build on something European. So there you had it a Italian body with a German powerplant. That it then was planned to sit on a all American made frame was ok according to the contest rules. The project was never finished in time, but someday I will finish it up. Enough off all the talking here is some pics. The rear off the body are from a ´34 Ford with the louvered rear hood courtesy off my good friend Custom Gert. The dash is a Corvette ´63 - ´67 that will receive a "fadeaway" in the passengers side. The front fenders that also are courtesy off Gert, is from the AMT T 25.

Here is a pick of some of the donor boxes to this build. You can see it on the top left of the pic. Also here is a pic off the frame before the wheels where mounted.

This is brilliant! As much as I love the Topolino-bodied drag cars, I'm stoked to see a hot-rod treatment. Looking great so far!

I didn't know it was in that particular parts pack, I have two of 'em in a 'hot rod chassis' packs, though I have stripped the chrome off...
