OOOOOHH WOOOOOOOW !!! Jon, i love this build. i'm not familiar with the color though, don't think i've ever seen it before. 2 questions, where'd the bubble come from and, how did you shape the taillight lenses to fit the bezels that you made? Duane

Alright, here's the skinny. The rear is the AMT '59 ElCamino... with the custom tailgate/taillights from the kit. The front 3/4 is JoHan '62 Chrysler 300 with fenders extended into separate, big and little pods for the lights and a parts pack grille shell modified into more of a "V" with the center bar cut loose and floated in the middle. The bubble (sorry) came from a Ford GT90 with the roofline modified into a pickup configuration... interior, too. The paint is Rust-O-Leum "Brass Metallic" right out of the can over a black base... no sanding, no buffing, no clear coat. The metallic in this stuff is so coarse it looks like metalflake on a 1/25th model. Thanx for the good revues, Guys.

Yeah, the Chrysler part came from there... the bed and fins were part of a box I bought from a kid here in town... there were over 60 models for five bucks so ya know what kind of shape they were in. They had glue in places the you'da never thought of.
