 Is this TRaKable? It's based on the AMT '57 T'bird. My thinking is it's a former salt racer turned drag car. Wheels are AMT parts pack so they're OK. Engine is based on a '51 Chevy 6 with scratch built gear driven DOHC head. Blower is fed by twin SUs. Sparks from a mag driven off of the exhaust cam, mechanical fuel pump, external oil pump and modified Cadillac (I think) water pump. Nothing electronic at all. AFAIK It's nothing that couldn't have been done pre '69 if someone had the facilities and the imagination. |

Not any crazier than Mr. Unswitchable, appearance wise....there was a lot of cars drag raced like this....how about the AWB Oldsmobile?, it had same type of cockpit so.... Go for it!  |
