Inspired by the great old boxart and the builds of my fellow KKIM members I embarked on this build. It's anewer issue kit with abunch of the custom parts from the original issue kit. The paint is a Testors laquer color that i can't remember now. Bullet grille mastered and cast by David Dale.

hell yeah i love it! i have this kit unbuilt ;D i plan to do the same thing, it's the only issue that came with skirts and other stuff...

Thanks guys, it was a real challenge to make those front custom parts fit. This model fought me from start to finish. Fortunatly, all the mistakes ended up on one side of the car, hence no passenger side photos. When I build another one of these AMT opening door kits I will probably glue them shut.

hey me too! it's cool the doors open, but i want a shelf model when im done. i wish they didnt' open them.

Plus the interior panels have big clearence gaps when closed. Kudos to those that get it right, but I don't think I'll be trying again.
