Dave, Yea, Larry has a strict rule, nothing newer than 63 on the infield or the track, and no billet anything. I usually am parked along the outside of the track because my truck is to new, but they love the look. Pics of my truck are in my introduction post. Showdown date Saturday May 17th, 2008 . Fun in the Mud!!! >>>>>Goodguys are in Hershey also.<<<< No dates are up yet for the Drags. Last year the Drags where at the end of Sept. Next year is going to be crazy, no eliminations just grudge matches all day long!! The Drags are held at Beaver Springs Dragstrip in PA, just north of Harrisburg. Link: jalopyshowdown.comI'll Post more info when i get it. Thanks for the info I'm definately going to go see it in 08(hope my rat is ready!)Bill

Thought I'd give this one a bump.... Very cool build! I've been passively hunting for a '37 P/U kit for a little while now, and this is another reminder to keep my eyes open. As for the Jalopy showdown, count me in too! I was wondering how I missed it this year but it was before I developed the rod addiction I'm battling now.......

Sweet truck! Looks like it was a ton of fun to build. Seen Don Moyer's Rebel Reaper and it reminded me that I got get started on building that. I have been in contact with him and he's pretty stoked about me wanting to build a model based entireley on his car. I gota ask though, where did that fuel tank come from in the bed of the truck? Wicked kool idea!
