... WAIT A MINUTE.......This is a '50 right? Weren't they still running I-beams in the front in '50? (or maybe it was just the other two) You slick devil you! I had to look several times at this pic to catch it! Is this sub-framed? I also caught that door interior detail that you did in this shot... Nice touch!

i subframed this one with the AMT '70 Camaro frame. it got the truck nice and low in the front with realistic suspension travel and poseable steering. the rear i flipped the axle to over the springs and moved the springs up to the top edge of the frame. i notched the bed sides and the frame for axle clearance. the Camaro frame was a nice one to use because of the ride height it got me and the narrow track width to fit the truck. it gave me some fits with the floor pan, but nothing a cowl induction hood scoop couldn't fix! oh, that notch in the door panel is there already in the kit. the side glass is one piece, i cut the vent windows off and just used them. i dont like closed windows on models, how are you going to see and appreciate the interior details? Dave

Man, great pics and great models! You do have a great eye for detail. I love the beehive on the seat and the intake laying in the bed. ;D
