Way too cool! Thanks Dave, for sharing Ted's work with us here. It is truly an honor. I love all three you posted, but this wagon really does it for me. I've always been a sucker for wagons and this one just hit a new spot I didn't know I had!

This is a fantasticly kool wagon! I, too have a soft spot for slammed family-mobiles. I think they wre pitifully overlooked then, and are shunned nowadays because they were overlooked then. Dig 'em out and slam 'em, drop 'em, chop 'em, flake, bake 'em, toasty-golden paint them! I think we need to have a Kustom WAGON build section, as these (when done tastefully) can be extremely kool!

This one is pretty neat ! I was looking on my Johan kit today and found that I could not find any rearlights in the box Do you know if he had used the kits rearlights or aftermarket ? I saw that The Modelhaus have them in their product line. By looking at this fine build here I feel realy inspired to start on mine.

We made the new lights from a piece of red plastic that came in the old Revell Tailight and bubble top parts packs. It was the light that looked like the 59 Bonneville light and it was cut diagonally and shaped from there.

Those from the 57 Chevy wouldn't work. The are too wide and they are cut out in the back and you can't sand them thin enough to fit the modified fenders. Now for stock lights you might be able to cut them out of the 57 Custom chevy lights. They aren't too big in stock form.
