Like I said before, this was a quick build just to see how everything went together. Of course, I had to throw in a different engine so it wouldn't look like every other '32 sedan being built from the box. I like the paint, but the camera picks up every flake in the paint - your eyes just see metallic blue. Couple of building tips: 1 - If you choose to use the cowl lights, there simply is not enough surface area on the tiny stalks for even the strongest CA glue to hold them in place. . I carefully removed the stalks and drilled very small holes in the light buckets and the cowl and mounted them with a thin wire. 2 - I found that if you glue the firewall in place, early in the build, before painting, it is ALMOSTimpossible to put the assembled interior into the body later. I always do this on the roadsters and coupes (This is my 20th completed Revell '32), but on the sedan, it is better to install the completed interior, then carefully glue in the firewall. Well, back to the other projects I had going on.

Nice! I really like the color, and your painted whitewalls are perfect. Love the addition of the Chev mill. Kool Hot Rod!
This just in... My c-dan project plan just took a 90-degree turn after I bought the new Street Rodder on lunch break. Rolling Bones!

Lyle, even your 'quick' builds blow me away. Wow. I also like the backdrop, the flower bushes are a great detail touch.

Lloyd makes an appearence here once in awhile if he has built something that's old school. Chip is still with him, but he's getting this attitude lately and talking about getting his own TV show.

quote] I have been thinking of doin somethin' like that for years! How did you do that? Photoshop? Do tell! I want a how-to!!!!! Ooops! Please?! ;D Photoshop? Are you implying that these photos are not real??? Okay, ya got me. The program I use is called MGI Photosuite, but I think it is now owned by Roxio. Anyway, in very simple terms, you use the "cutout" feature to remove part of a picture and then plant it into another picture. So I took,,,uh,,,,ME, out of a picture and put it into the picture of the green '63 Chevy model and made it look like I'm leaning on the fender. Then you use the "paint" section of the program to add the reflections and shadows. It's something to do while model paint is drying.
