Thanks Duane, While waiting for the alclad to dry, I painted up the interior. After removing the tape and liquid masking film Don't know how I left a few spots uncovered but got a little bit of over spray.

That's some stunning work you're doing, the engine in particular looks incredible.
I hadn't realised this kit was deemed TRaKable with it not being a rod or a kustom. Or is it accepted that stock cars of a certain age can be counted as part of the racer genre? Part of the '40s dirt trackers and some racers' area of the rules? Not trying to start a fight just wondering.

I don't know for sure. I know it's a racer but does it have to be a certain kind of racer? If it's not Trakable, I can always have it deleted, no skin off my back.

i posted this in Is This Track-Able...it is because stock cars evolved from "shine-runners" which were also daily drivers !!!!!

Seems to be getting a lot of support for it being TRaKable so I guess consensus is to carry on with the build!

I don't know cycolacfan, it seems the answer may be no.
As of right now, I'm stopping this WIP for now until I get word for sure if it's a go or not.
OK, I got the word and it's OK as long as I don't call it NASCAR. I never did call it a NASCAR and the box art says Stock Car. ;D

Interior's looking great. I wonder how they did the seat cut out in the 1:1 car? You'd think it would be all springs or foam in there - nothing to attach metal, vinyl or whatever too.

I thought about that myself and couldn't figure out what they did.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the good words. I am going to add some color in there, it needs a red fire extinguisher.
