The 58 Pontiacs were the best GM designed 58's in their line except for the 58 Cadillac Seville. (I'll edit this if I have the wrong model name.) Gary

More impeccable workmanship John. I'm sure we all learn a lot from your in-progress reports.

The '58 Bonniville in took some of the best styling ques from the '58 Chevrolets, but some of the chrome looked like it came out of the Barris shop! Meaning, in GM's race to include the most chrome on every upscale car in their lineup, the poor Bonnie sort of lost out getting way too much.
When customizing a Bonniville comes down to first giving it a "Shave and a Haircut" to "redefine it's great bones" that the GM and Pontiac designers envisioned for the Bonnie, the Buick and Caddy as well. That's exactly what I see going on here, prying away some of the garish chrome getting down to a pretty, hot, mid-sized, mature, body!
So, Build on, John! I for one have my caffeinated pupils fixated on this great looking build!

Oh BOY!!!! Watson-inspired, huh? I have my vision. Can't wait to see the color choices. Will it be passion purple fades or a pink mist over gold, or tangerine and silver, or... Or... Loosing consciousness here from hyperventilating in excitement! hubba_hubbaTom
