I started by cutting out the 32 gas tank, rear cross member and truck floor. I than cut the front cross member out to use the modified on from the 48. I fit the 48 rear cross member, spring and rear like it was on the 1 to 1. Added the X frame and will trim the front and reform it when the engine it in it's final location. The car had stock radius rod set up, not split and a stock 48 front axle which seems unusual at the time not being a dropped unit.
From the info I've got the car used cross members, suspension, x frame, front axle and rear from the 48 Ford. I did the build a stock firewall and the basic interior tub to to fit the body one the chassis to locate the engine so I could make front motor mounts, locate the trans cross member and mark off where the X frame gets cut and bent .

Is it just me or is everyone else viewing these pictures with difficulty. But, will be a heck of a Deuce Coupe when you get it done. Gary

I always thought it a shame that the Rev-o-gram Duece didn't have a flatty option, just the 302/5.0 .

They did a Flatty it in the 32 sedan kit, wish it was in all of them! Wish I could find a use for the dozen or so 5.0's I got from the kits, but I don't have any.

Made up brass fabbed tube shocks and installed a Galaxie 1948 Chevy Fleetline set of front brakes and drums. Wheels and tires: fronts are from the 1948 Chevy kit, rears are from the 1948 Ford kit. Built a brass, solder and sewing pin fuel pressure pump. Chassis is painted with Tamiya Semi Gloss White.

Made most of the interior parts, bomber seat, Auburn dash insert, fuel tank hanging pedals, Fuel pressure gauge on bottom right of dash and a little flathead work. The build becomes easier since this is the second build of this model. First was stolen from a model show in N.Y.

Those 48 ford kits are great doner kits, like what your doing with this.
